In addition to his TESOL certificates Devin has also been trained at the Lingdong Foreign Language school in Foshan, Guangdong, the West Street English school in Yangshuo, Guilin, and the Shane English school near Wenzhou in Zhejiang.
These schools emphasised the importance of engaging classroom activities and games, to move studying away from word and sentence memorization and instead towards using the language in fun and interesting ways with conversational activities.
